Hunting Knives Today

When my son was just five years old, I enrolled him in the Cub Scouts. I was never a scout myself, but with the ubiquitous nature of technology, I thought it necessary that he be exposed to the elements and learn some rudimentary survival skills. At the time I first signed him up, I assumed that the scouts would be a nice hobby for a few years and then he would grow out of it. However, the scouts became one of the paramount activities in his life, and I am proud to say that he will be receiving the rank of Eagle Scout this weekend.

In order to commemorate this crowning achievement, my wife and I wanted to get him a gift that reflected his time spent in the scouts. Like most people who stick with the program for many years, he has developed an affinity for the outdoors and frequently ventures into the wild for camping, hunting and other expeditions.
